About the Author A native of Milwaukee, Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz was ordained a priest in 1960 at the Church of the Twelve Apostles in Rome. He completed his graduate work at the Gregorian University in Rome, where he received a doctorate in Dogmatic Theology in 1969. On May 13, 1992, he was named Bishop of the Diocese of Lincoln, Nebraska, where he has become well known for his unwavering defense of the Faith.
